Evolving his sound to greater heights, Dan teamed up with producer Alex Markwell, who is credited with the likes of Mark Ronson, Portugal The Man and The Delta Riggs.

‘Bland Francisco’ transports the listener around the world, crossing continents and dropping pins into several countries and major cities. At a time when such physical free movement feels forever away, these destinations intended to reflect diverse emotions for the characters involved. Dan explains; “It accounts a clash of two lovers, who due to opposing careers and lifestyles, struggle to connect. They are at war with a long-distance relationship, conflicting time zones and effectively, each other.” For fans of Foals, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Circa Waves.
